Hi All,
Anybody can advice why silver is more susceptible to H2S/elemental S corrosion compare to copper corrosion under prescribed test. Thanks

This is indeed Mind boggling :huh:

as far as i know ,copper is more reactive than silver(its higher up in the series of reactivity)...

hmm may be something related to some specific type of suphur compounds reaction.:unsure:

Any Process Chemist here ,please help
