Hi,

Anyone has any idea on how to size a slurry bubble column reactor volume? I'm doing costing for this reactor, yet not sure how to do it. Is it done according to PFR model? But there is inert oil (slurry) in it, would it affect the calculation? How should we take this into consideration?

Thanks.

In bubble column reactor, inert oil (slurry) which you considering is the catalyst, as the reaction is taking place in fluidized bed. this catalysy is mixture of WAX & COBALT/IRON, SO it will not come in cost of reactor.
