hi everyone
i am working in a plant that produces chlorinated parrafins and we have hydrocloric acid as a byproduct and we are looking for adding new unit for producing calcium chloride by reacting hcl with limestone ifanyone can please help me with flowsheets for this process i will be greatfull

Calcium Chloride is an elementary inorganic product that is derived from a variety of processes - both as a by-product (Solvay) or direct. Since this is not the Student Forum, I would expect that you are a professional engineer and that you have done the usual, to-be-expected research and background check on what you are looking for. I would expect you have poured over the Internet - as I did - and found the following information from a long list of references:

thank you for your reply and your help and you mentioned that i didn't fill my details in my profile
i am from egypt and i would be thankfull if you would supply me with information about how to start studying a new unit because in egypt we have a problem in the workfield that chemical engineer works only with operation and control we have no design no R&D no creative thoughts we almost work as operators here so building a new unit is kinda weired here and i found no help even from experienced process engineers
so if you can help please me or at least guide me to my start point this will be great
and thank you again
