Hi dear ones,
I'm working in a BD extraction plant with NMP solvent (BASF design)
I want to make a topic to discuss about problems, suggestions, etc about BD plant.
Let's share our experiences about that.

we have problems in four exchangers that predegas the solvent from rectifer (in our site : E-2030A/D)
specially in A that meets the hot slovent from degasser
it forms polymer inside tube side before but now we have a film of polymer in shell side too.
after that we have this polymers in degasser too
I did not that the polymers in degasser are from these exchangers or form in that tower independently.
we have polymer in the bed 5 , 3 (down to up : down=bed 1, up=bed 5)

please give me your idea's about this.

How do you control the BD-content in the Raf1 ? By heat input into downstream reboilers and compressor duty ? Or by adjusting the NMP ratio in Mainwasher ?
