HI,

I'm simulating a project which contains the couple H2O and LiBr in HYSYS 2006. The problem is there is not LiBr salt (electrolyte).
What I'm trying to do is to add this component to the hysys library. So please could you help me about how can I create the data for this couple of components and implement the solution in Hysys?

Thanks.

Dear,
Make sure you have access to OLI Electrolyte license. If yes then process with this method, for more information you can search on support website of either Aspen Tech or OLI.

Dear ,
Thanks for your response. But, actually I don't have the OLI licence,so I can't access to the electrolyte data.
If there's anaother solution (to createstep by step this component in hysys) , it will be so helpful for me.

Thanks

Hi

if you are working on a LiBr cooling system then read on:LiBr chillers are an old technology, you should find some data from the vendors or general design books. best is to model these as heater/cooler blocks in hysys using water on the other side. the chemical process will be hard to model and not worth your time, use the charts and spread sheet links to heaters. just what I would do,

cheers,

SM
