Dear All,

I have been trying to search a paper from "Hydrocarbon Processing" titled:

"What Process Engineers Need to Know about Compressors" by W. Dimoplon

Hydrocarbon Processing, Vol. 57, 5, 221, May 1978

The article is more than 30 years old and hence I am not getting the right sources to search for this article.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you very much for the article. I have been continuously researching the subject of compressors and this article would definitely help.

I have been trying to establish a regressed correlation between the polytropic efficiency and the inlet volume flow as given in the Figure 2 of the article provided by you.

The regressed correlation is based on some data obtained from other sources and then plotting a graph in excel for the inlet volume flow versus polytropic efficiency, genarating a trendline and subsequently generating a logarithmic equation for the polytropic efficiency.

I should be able to post the equation in a day or two after some further verificaion is done.
