Hi, everyone...
I'm looking for someone who can help me for EOS to choose in TEG dehydration...
my probblem is that I get different values when I use P-R and Glycol Pkg. With P-R, water Intlet absorber is 509 mg/Nm3, with Glycol Pkg this value decreases to 360. This makes a huge difference in TEG rate.
Thank in advance for your help

What quantity do these values represent?
In a generic case, when I have two models giving me two different answers, and I have to decide between the two models, I will try to find some "experimental" or other real world value for that quantity and see which model more accurately represents "experiment."

It's the quantity of water in the gas at dehydration tower inlet...
I calculated this quantity using GPSA methode, i had "523", so I'm nearest Ping-R than Glycol Pkg...But in "Hysys guid user" they say it would be best to use glycol Pkg for TEG dehydration !
Thank u

Do you have reason to believe the GPSA method over HISYS's recommendation?
You'll have to forgive me, but, as a laboratory guy, I sometimes have trouble visualizing these things on a process scale. If these values are at the inlet, does that mean these are actually calculated before the gas stream has come into contact with any glycol?

Hi guys,
Indeed GLYCOL package (Hysys) gives less water content in gas after saturation than Peng ROBINSON. That is a big problem...If we follow HYSYS recommandation we should use Glycol Package but this choice give a low teg flowrate. All my TEG DH unit are perfectly working and were design with PR. Using GP will save a lot of money but the risk is quite high according to me....
