I am new to Aspen Plus.
When I specify components in the component section it works fine. But it don't shows in reaction section in the reactor block. It is freaking me out. Property estimation seems to be working fine. But why the components like co2, o2 or anything does not shows itself when i specify reaction component. It show me blank space.
Please help

I am not sure if this will work or not......

I guess you have to define the reaction first in the reaction tab......when you define the reaction than you can see in the reactor section.

First click the data browser...then u can see all the setup options on the left hand side.....that is set up, components, properties, flowsheet, blocks, stream n so on..then reactions, convergence, so on...

hope this will work,

you are not seeing the components because you havnt connected the streams to the reactor......connect the inlet and outlet streams........define the inlet conditions and compositions of the stream.....than you can define the reactions.

success!!
