Hi,

i have some problems with the dynamic mode on Hysys. I am new in Hysys and I can't simulate the process of unloading a tank. When i try to do that hysys comes with a negative flow in one of output stream. Can somebody help me with this?
Thanks

You need to set up the model with a feed stream to fill the tank - then close the inlet valve so that flow into the tank stops when it reaches the "full" level. Then run the model with the outlet opened and it should empty the tank. You can also initialize the model manually, but I find it is easier to do it this way (that way you don't have to figure out how to enter the composition of the material in the tank.

Hello to all,

May i get some help from you all about gas hydrate prediction below 0 degree celcius. I am now doing the gas hydrate prediction project and now is using the HYSYS. I am able to predict the formation pressure by give the input of temperature in HYSYS. But, not for temperature below 0 C, as the result just indicate "Ices form first" without stating the formation pressure.
May i know someone who is familiar with hysys can suggest a solution for me. During the process, i just provide a feed with composition of methane, water and CO2,together with condition of temperature ,molar flow and pressure. i get the result by clicking on "performance - add utility (hydrate formation utility) to see the formation pressure.

Hi I'm a bignner in hysys
first for the problem of dynnamic tank problem
you've to size well the tank, because before changing from the steady state to dynamic stad you've first add valves, PID, and sizie well the tank
after run dynamic model (integrator)
if you've solved the problem please tell us
good luck

please Mr henrylcl
could you please give me the fractions of the compounds (mole, mass...) flow, pressure; and tempreture ????? please
I'll try to use my recent version of hysys 7.1 and I look forward to get solution
thankx in advance
