Hi everybody,

My application is 'I've used vacuum for some applications simultaneously say for example

1) Filtration MLs sucking from a Nutsche filter into the receiver.
2) Transfer of a liquid from one reactor to another by applying vacuum to the other reactor.

My question is

" what are the parameters to be considered here to decide the capacity of the vacuum pump?"
because there will be a lot of pressure drop across the filter bag of the nutsche filter so is it the high vaccum which is essential or is it the capacity of the vacuum pump which plays a crucial role?

Is there any direct relation between capacity of the vacuum pump and the liquid properties?

Thanks and Regards,
Addy.

Hi
is there any restriction in pressure transfer because charging into reactor is done good by vaccum and product transfer by compressed air or N2 depaending on product requirment.
