Hi Process Engineering Friends,

I am interested in obtaining user feed-back on Basell "Avant Z 501 & 509" Catalyst used in Hostalen process. I have extensive experience with Unipol M-1 catalyst in the gas-phase LLDPE reactors but not so certain if the same is true for Avant.

In particular how sensitive is the catalyst behaviour to reactor parameter changes and is the performance consistent on a batch to batch basis.

What is the typical productivity of this catalyst.

Do look forward to a healthy comparison of various polyolefins catalyst on this forum.
