Hi all,

Attached herewtih is an excel file that calculates the number of theoritical plates required in a distillation column for a given separation using Mc-Cabe Thiele method. It's a very basic aspect that we all were taught during our early days and I've created this then to check the numerical problems in the text book. It was created purely for theoritical analysis and thus calculation for a 5000 plates was included in the code.

Regards,
