I'm working on building a basic dynamic simulation of a crude distillation unit (CDU) in HYSYS that can handle dual feed sources to simulate crude switching scenarios. The idea is to model how the unit responds dynamically during the transition, including changes in product yields, energy balances, and stabilization after the switch.
Here’s what I’m aiming to include:
- Dual feed inputs with varying flow rates, compositions, and temperatures.
- Dynamic behavior tracking key variables over time.
Is anyone ever tried to model it and can give example ?
