Hey guys,
I am undertaking a heavy design project at a British University ( University of Birmingham) which is a kind of nightmare actually.
I need to do a detai design to separate two immscible liquids ( water and isobutyl acetate) which are immiscible and I actually need to do liquid liquid separator ( preferabley decanter).
I have seen different books such as Coulson Richardson, Walas, Perry's handbook, but really there is a small amount of information about this separation technique in them in comparison to someting like distillation, absorption and stuff like these.
I need to design, cost, propose control strategy and prepare a report of about 25 to 30 pages.
Could you please inform me about good sources for doing this?
Thank you very much

Thank you very much,
the book seems very useful, but although the title is Gas liquid and liquid liquid separators,
but it talks about liquid gas separation only, in chapter 3 for example the discussion is only about gas liquid I suppose.
