Please spell out what you mean by PEFS. Do not assume that everyone will understand your particular abbreviation or jargon!

PEFS means Process Engineering Flow scheme

PEFS is a synonym for Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&ID). As far as I know the term PEFS is only used by Shell. If you are indeed working for Shell, did you check the relevant Shell DEPs (Design and Engineering Practices), for example there is a DEP called "Preparation of Process Flow Schemes and Process Engineering Flow Schemes."
