Dear Members,

I would like to know what would be the minimum informations required for the designing of submersible pumps

1. flow
2. required pressure
3. service fluid
4. driver

is there some other informations required

how these pumps are normally installed.

What you lack is a normal and conventional manner of describing the pump you require. The means to attain that is called a Pump (Centrifugal?) Data Sheet. This is the instrument by which all engineering companies and pump manufacturers convey the information required that identifies the service and characterisics of the subject pump.

In the past I have uploaded into our Forums a workbook full of formal Data Sheets for process equipment and instruments for the purpose of making these available to our members. Among this collection is one for Centrifugal Pumps. Presumably your submersible is a centrifugal type. Use the Forum's Search machine and you can find the thread where you can download the entire workbook.
