Hi, i am an engineering student, and i am working on a cross flow induced draft cooling tower. I am stuck in the design calculations. I know the inlet and outlet temperature of water, volume flow rate of water and the heat load desired from the cooling tower. Is it possible to perform the complete calculations with these parameters? If not then what other parameters would be required? Please help me out. Thank you.

Thank you for the help. I am using the sample calculations given in the following pdf. I want to know if it is applicable for an induced draft cross flow cooling tower. If it is applicable, then is it possible to get characteristic curves for the loading factor? The curve provided does not fit my data. Thank you

Baltimore Air Coil (BAC) has some design manuals which may be of interest. I cannot remember if I needed permission to download them. Also Marley Cooling Towers (made by SPX) has some items in their library (http://spxcooling.com/en/library/)
