hi everyone,

I need help to know , what is the workflow in EPC company for the selection of any Mechanical/Rotating equipment. I am willing to work for EPC companies in their Mechanical Engg department. I have worked for different equipment mfg companies in their techical sales department and want to work in epc firm as a mechanical engineer now . so i need help to understand hpw is the working in mechanical engg department of any epc company.

I have a brief idea, that process engineers design the process flow diagram as per the project and the role of mechanical engg is to select the equipment for that process, but i need to know what are the steps other than making the technical data sheer equipment i.e after making technical data sheet what are the next steps to complete this selection process and how the mechanical engg plays a role from Selection to Operation of that equipment in actual process
