You don't identify yourself as a ChE student nor do you explain why you are in a dilemma. Let me guess and assume certain details that you've left out:
1. Your prof has assigned a project to you that will be graded; this project is based on present work (or studies) that you are presently in;
2. Your university level is such that your prof believes that you should be able to generate what you have been assigned. That's why he's going to grade you (& your classmates) in order to determine if you are a serious student who has diligently kept up with the class and has done his/her homework and studies. Whether you graduate as a ChE depends largely on whether you can do this assignment to your profs satisfaction.
3. Your prof has also instructed you to ask any pertinent or other questions related as to how he wants the work done and where you can obtain the basic information that will enable you to start the project.
4. You have been assigned a project having to do with a Polyurethane process. You have also been told the name of the process and all other details related to it. You have also been told where to go for additional information related to the process.
Now comes my question(s): Have you done all that you have been told to research and find out about the process? What exactly is your assignment? What makes you believe that there is only ONE, solitary Polyurethane process? What is your understanding of how the process works?
I'll await further information. Let me know where my assumptions are wrong.
