I want to optimiza crude oil atmospheric distillation process using Aspen Plus. But I do not know how to solve it. Who could share similar example?Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Refer the tutorials provided within documentation DVD. From your post it seems that you are newbie to simulation with Aspen Plus, if my understanding is correct then you should learn with smaller flow-sheets. If you are conversant with Aspen Plus and used extensively, then would be interested to where the exact problem is. Please tell us specific problem you are facing, we will make sure to help you.

Thanks for your reply. I want to get the maximun profit of crude oil distilltion process using optimization model of Aspen Plus. And I completed the process with Aspen Plus V7.3. Then I optimized the process, I encountered the problem. The results of simulation displayed some constraints is Inactive. And I do not know how to solve it. If you have similar simulation profile, could you share with me? thank you.
