I am to get involve in a LPG filling station project. Please, i would like to know the design details required for a small LPG filling station with storage capacity.

If you want to do a proper study on LPG transfer and transportation then I suggest you get yourself a copy of the following Shell DEP:

DEP 30.06.10.13-Gen. - LPG Bulk Transfer & Transportation

It provides the fundamental guidelines on design aspects of LPG Bulk Road Vehicles and Rail Tank Wagons.

The project is to design of a small LPG gas filling station that would serve as a filling/re-filling station for LPG cylinders and other local consumers.

A loading truck is expected to bring the bulk LPG to the plant and offload into a storage vessel at the plant.

I am to develop the process schematic diagram for the facility operation which would require me to state the major equipment required at the station. This is my major challenge.

I would appreciate insight into the flow scheme.
