Dear All:
I was searching for how to add user defined component in Aspen V7, but failing to understand the methodology. I was trying to put 2 4 Dichlorophenol, 2 6 Dichlorophenol, 2 4 6 Trichlorophenol in aspen to design the separation train. I tried my best but unable to converge.

I have not used Aspen before for the components which are absent in aspen. Please help.
Thank you

Which file you are talking about? I am unable to put extended Antoine vapor pressure coefficients in the given format.

Hi,

I could find all the 3 compounds in hysys. Please make sure your system has "Aspen properties" installed. Click on "Aspen Properties Databanks" then "Add" components using "Launch Find Component Window". The hysys file having these 3 phenols are attached as rar file.

Please let me know if I understood your question correctly.

Ajay
