Hi, could any body suggest me the calculation procedure for boiler efficiency for the following:
  • Donot know the coal consumption. Cannot efford to place the weighing balance or loadcell for coal measurement.
  • Feed water flow meter is available on high pressure feed water pump suction line. (But variation observed based on tank level volume). suggest on right method because today we are calculating the coal consumption based on feed water consumption and ratio considering the 5.5 between steam and coal by assuming the boiler efficiency.
  • Coal net calorific value:4000 Kcal/Kg.
  • Boiler pressure: 10 Kg/Cm2.
