I am trying to do the modelling of the pervaporation system with MS Excel and then link it to Aspen plus using a template provided by Aspen Plus. I get this error message:

*WARNING IN PHYSICAL PROPERTY SYSTEM
NRTL BINARY PARAMETERS FOR ALL COMPONENT PAIRS ARE ZERO,
YOUR RESULTS MAY NOT BE ACCURATE. PLEASE REVIEW AND PROVIDE BINARY
PARAMETERS AS APPROPRIATE.

Block: MEMBRANE Model: USER2
*** SEVERE ERROR

Does anyone have ideas as to how to fix this problem? I have tried everything I know in Aspen plus but it is not working. Thanks.

I came across the same problem as you when following the instruction of Aspen to simulate a ultrafiltration membrane.

Could someone help us out?

is it possible to post it here? Would help to actually look at it. Who knows, it might turn out to be a software bug!
