How do I calculate for the evaporation rate of gasoline in no wind velocity, especially for gasoline stored in a tank with open roof (free venting condition)? Thanks.

All the three equations for evaporation rate of non-boiling liquid are dependent on wind speed. Do you know other equation applicable for zero wind velocity? Thanks.

Hi ,

I cannot support more , just consider a minimum wind velocity .

You might find guidance here:

Consider Chapters 5 and 7.
