Can any one tell me the purpose loading dry crude oil from the top using inclined inlet distributor in crude oil storage tank.
Is this meant for easy degassing ?????

Yes. Or sometimes a degassing boot is used before entry into the tank.

Thanks for the reply, but why inclined inlet distributor? Why not normal horizontal inlet distributor.is there any velocity criterion to size nozzle???
