Dear all
1. What is the importance of “plait point” of ternary liquid Mixtures in distillation?
2. In the azotropic systems we have a condition that:
“In azotropic point since the equilibrium curve crosses the y=x curve we cannot
Obtain lighter component purer than azotropic composition at top.”
Have we similar conditions in plait point ?
Regards
Ebrahim
