Dear Guys....

Really required your help....


I have a problem in converting Heating Value unit of MJ/kmol to MJ/scm (std cubic meter). I have spent almost two weeks surfing the internet and ask my colleague to convert the unit but to no avail. Please could anyone help me to resolve this matters. thankyou in advance

If we assume that the fuel is a gas, and the ideal gas law is valid then:

1 mol = 22.4 l (at STP)
= 0.0224 scm
so,
1 kmol = 22.4 scm

The above assumes that standard conditions are 1 atm pressure and temperature of 0 deg C. However, in your case if the standard conditions are differently defined, use the ideal gas law for conversion.
