Good day

I work for a fertilizer company producing SSP, MAP, NPK blends and also sulphuric and phosphoric acid.

We are currently upgrading our SSP plant to produce more than double the current amount. To do this the current batch process will be abandoned and a continuous process implemented. We would like to use a Broadfield den (reciprocating den) and cutter in the process but unfortunately have no experience ourselves concerning this equipment, and also no one in this country seems to manufacture it.

I would like to ask for any advice or information on this equipment as it seems we will have to build it ourselves.
I would also like to converse with experienced people about fertilizer, especially SSP and MAP. I am still knew in this business and have a lot of questions and would like to learn from other peoples' experiences.

Kind Regards
Rommie

P.S. May everyone have a blessed 2013!

There are suppliers of "reciprocating den", e.g. http://fertilizerpla...hate-plant.html '> http://fertilizerpla...hate-plant.html , option of constructing den and cutter by yourselves might be laborious and time consuming. But Single Super Phosphate (SSP) was not produced in the plant where I had worked, so no experience. That plant produced mainly MAP based fertilizers (http://www.cheresour...50-pipe-reactor '> http://www.cheresour...50-pipe-reactor ); fertilizer slurry passed directly from reactor to granulator (without den - cutter).
