hello,

we have online pH meter in our scrubbing section of complex fertilizer plant(DAP Plant). due to scaling & other impurities in phosphoric acid, pH meter shows wrong indication.

whether this problem is faced by everyone?

what are they doing to eliminate this problem?

thanks.

Dear,

I dont have the same fluid experience but normally for any Such critical PH meter there must be small skid. There must be manual sample point after the PH meter & we need to take sample at any regular interval to cross check the accuracy of reading.

Regards,

Hi ,

Probably the vendor of this equipment should advice , definitely regular calibration and probe cleaning is a must . Can you provide a sketch or PID for us to understand better and provide effective support ( pipe diameter , flow rate , location of the probe ,etc) ?

Hope this helps

Breizh

A filter is normally used for removing suspended and undissolved matter which may deposit on the electrodes leading to erroneous results. Please check the filter if there is any. Otherwise, use a filter. The meter (electrodes) has to be cleaned and calibrated with pH buffers periodically
