can anyone give me information regrding Talc powder and Gun powder?

Talc powder is hydrous magnesium sulfate:

CAS Registry number: 14897-96-06
Chemical Formula: Mg3Si4O10(OH)2
Molecular weight: 379

Gunpowder is a mixture of:

75 weight % Potassium Nitrate (KNO3) also known as saltpeter
15 weight % Carbon (charcoal)
10 weight % elemental Sulfur
