I would like recommendations of you. We have a plant in which LNG is separated order to obtain C3, iC4, NC4, C5 and gasoline. The plant has been modified to increase capacity. Currently we have a problem, the composition of the feed to the plant has increased density (the percentage of heavy has increased) resulting in the reduced capacity of the plant, it should be noted that the plant has a revamp and "not possible to make other changes." To normalize even increase plant capacity we are considering the installation of one column of distillation that will fed with a portion of LGN which separated for top of the tower C3, iC4 and NC4, and sidestream C5 and for the bottom gasoline. The products got for the top will feed the plant in order to dilute the feed to the plant and the product of sidestream and bottom of the column going to storage.

Hi Robert,
It could work but at least a composition should be available to go in more detail.

The increase in the composition is heavier components, C5, C6, C7, C8, C9 has caused problems at fractionation towers and heat exchangers which forces the plant to reduce the feed flow

I want to hear are the suggestions for installing the distillation column for the purposes described above, or for that matter other estrattegias which could be considered.
