Dear Friends,

I am new to this portal and currently moving into process engineering from by operations experience in Petrochemical plants. We are faced with a scenario where we have an Iso-Butyl Acetate (BP 118 degC, Flash Pt. 18 degC) storage tank which is vented to our existing vent header network at almost atmos.pressure, with nitrogen blanketing. This tank is to be isolated for our turnaound/DBN project and we will not have the vent header system and nitrogen available. can anyone support me to design any suitable vent system for this tank to store the material safely for close to 5 months in this tank. I was thinking of a nitrogen cylinder based blanketing with the tank vent modified as a lute or dipped in water..
