I am looking for ANY information regarding this catalyst: ruthenium (II) phosphine, RUC12[P(CH3)3]4; especially how much it costs  I would really appreciate. I can’t seem to find any useful info online.

Thanks.

Its very expensive... specialty catalysts: Ligand accelerated catalysis. Only certain companies make it. You wont get much info online because they are proprietary and no company will divulge such information.

If you intend to to use the catalyst, you should contact the company representative directly.

Thanks Thorium90 for the reply.

I am student and I wanted to add it to our cost analysis for our plant design project!

Well, you could still contact the company that sells it, they might feel helpful... (You can search online for who sells it..)

The prices of ruthenium has gone up significantly ever since companies found large uses for it. It is also becoming valuable in catalysis as researchers find out new ways of making stuff especially specific stuff like the chiral types using a transition metal and phosphine and also ever since the recent Nobel prize in chemistry was about it
