Dears:

           What concentration shall I taken for scrubber inlet?

           Below are my case:

           1. HCl tank: 20 m3. FRP

           2. HCl scrubber: 20 Nm3/hr for fume flow (maybe use 1 CMM for design), concentration: need help

           3. Type" vertical packed bed (water only)

           4. Recirculation pump capa.: 1 CMH

           5. Efficiency: 90%? based on inlet concentration to decide later!

           That all, please share u'r experience. Many thanks~

The concentration of HCl could be estimated by the vapour pressure of HCl, and teh flowrate of waste gas should be considered following factors:

(1) the temperature change scope;

(2) The feed rate of HCl to this tank;

And the efficiency had relationship with the structure of scrubber, the operation parameter of this scrubber.
