Hi! I'd like to ask how can I get a very good estimate of the air requirement for a plate-and-frame filter press? The only data I have is the amount of slurry per hour that enters the filter press and the amount of filtrate per hour.

Ergun equation is mostly applied for estimating flow through packed beds.
