Funmilayo,

You previously asked for help on making a line list, and when I offered to help, you did not reply.

Now you ask the forum to give you a basic process design education. I think you need to make an effort to educate yourself first.

 

You can't size a gas scrubber just by running Hysys. You need to understand the principles involved first. A good place to start is the GPSA Data Book which has a chapter on separator design. Read it.

For Hysys V8.1, Select "Equipment Design" in the left panel, press "Add" button to select "Vessel Sizing" from dropdown list, then press "Select Separator" to pick the scrubber that you want to size.
