Hi,

I have a valve system (lab scale) where I can connect my pipe using screw-on ferrule for material injection, when finished isolate the system and remove my pipe. I was wondering how would you show that form of connection on a P&ID?

I have uploaded a picture  ;)

Many Thanks

It's a threaded connection.

threaded connections are usually just shown as a straight line and there is no symbol like there is for a flange or tri-clamp.

rosneft,

What's going on inside that block? Is there a website where we can see the internal details?

Steve
