I have to simulate a cyclone equipment on Aspen Plus from example which is on the book:

 

CHEMICAL ENGINEERING DESIGN Principles, Practice and Economics of Plant and Process Design

 

 

The example is on page 599 (example 10.4).

 

 

Could anyone of you help me to simulate this example. I don't know how to fill the aspen plus with data. And what is more important what chemical component should I use as solid, because in example 10.4 the authors didn't specified the chemical composition of the solid.

You just need to specify solid particle size and density not chemical components for a cyclone simulation.
