How to calculate the following calculations for Offshore horizontal Burner boom.

 

Crude oil, wind velocity-250km/hr, burner head capacity- 150 m3/h @9bar

Water curtain capacity- 550 m3/h @7bar

Gas line size- 4inch 720 psi sch40

Oil line size- 3 inch 1440 psi sch 80

 

  • Temperature at rig, with out water curtain 
  • No.of water curtains to be provided to have minimum heat radiation at rig.
  • Temperature at rig, With 1 water curtain 
  • Temperature at rig, With 2 water curtain 
  • length of boom to have to be provided to have minimum heat radiation at rig.
