Hi, I begin to discuss in this forum thread simulators related to pipes PIPEHASE, PIPESYS and PIPESIM. In what applications is recomedable use each?
I think it is really a simulator PIPESIM where their equipment and tools correlations suit production facilities in oil and gas wells in addition to simulate dynamic state, vertical pipes, horizontal onshore and offshore. It can simulate a variety of compounds, compositions crude speudocomponentes etc.. You can simulate as HYSYS extension but you need to install the extension and PIPESIM simulator.
While PIPEHASE limited to wells Produced operations, is widely used for dynamic state simulator (TACITE), pipelines and piping in process plants.
PIPESYS, is quite similar to PIPEPHASE and PIPESIM simulator. from my point of view is not so roguroso as PIPESIM   Can simulate as HYSYS extension. In fact the company is part of AspenTech.
You tell me what their experiences
