How do you find the latitude of a tank? I am trying to calculate the thermal outbreaking for tank vent sizing and I need to find the Latitude of the tank so that I can get the Gamma factor according to API 2000...There are 3 laititudes listed: Below 42, Between 42 and 38 and Above 58 degrees. I need to know where to find the latitude factor of the tank....

Remember latitude/longitude you learnt in Geography class. Latitude is not of tank, but of the location where tank is placed. Which country/city is tank located in. Just google for latitude of that place.
Latitude affects solar insolation received by that place and hence tank outbreathing.

In my opinion, lattitude of the plant site should be considered which can be taken from Google Search.

One other comment on this thread, I have found the EPA Tanks 4.0 program quite useful for this purpose in the past, and it's free. It generates reports, and has physical data for common compounds.
