Hello,

I am having trouble desulfurizing naphtha using hysys considering that naphtha doesnt have a standard composition and mass/mole fractions.

If by desulrization process using a reactor, we need the rates of reactions that occur.

If by absorption, using which solvent? and how can it be accomplished?

Thank you,

Regards

You should do some research first.

There's been quite a bit of research on desulphurization using catalysts. You can quite easily search the reaction kinetics online and use the PFR model in hysys to do it.

Hysis is not a replacement for a literature search. My guess is you are jumping into Simulation way too early.
