How to check the direction of Restricted orifice in line, if its correct or in reverse direction??

If it is actually a restricted orifice (not orifice plate) having normally full squared edge characteristic, it doesn't matter to be installed in either direction...

 

Anyway, normally a text label printed on the paddle of a restricted orifice (or orifice plate) which identifies its upstream side...
