Hi....!!!!!!!

I work on sales gas pipieleine custody metering skid project. While going though the P&ID , i have noticed that pipeleine is designed as per ASME B31.8 code and metering skid is designed as per ASME B31.3 not ASME B31.8.

Will you please let me know why metering skid is designed as per ASME B31.3 not ASME B31.8?
