Hi!

I am simulating a Naphta Stabilizer Column, in order to predict new operating conditions or optimize the process.

So, I configured the column with the real number of trays and I subtracted a few, in order to match the real results and operating conditions.

I did that with success, but I am having trouble matching the top temperature of the column.

The real operating conditions in the top of the column are:

P=10.8 barg and T=77ºC

and the simulator gives me the following:

P=10.8barg and top temperature is 110ºC.

Does anyone have an idea to resolve this?

Thank you all

Obviously the simulation is taking too much of the heavier material overhead. You should get a tray efficiency around 75%.
