I need to do mechanical design for storage tank in biodiesel production. anyone have calculation steps for storage tank?

chemist,

Leave it to be done by an experienced storage tank designer. But if you want to be familiar with the mechanical design/calculation steps, there are several handbooks, standards,...you can refer to them.

API 650 or API 620 are the obvious ones.... They are reasonably well explained and by and large quite straight forward.
