Breizh:

Thank you very much for yet another great engineering contribution.  This is particularly interesting to me because it is a presentation by Dr. David Clough of the University of Colorado.  Dr. Clough has been a pioneering advocate of employing computer programming - especially the use of Excel spreadsheets and VBA - into chemical engineering problem solving and calculations - something that I have been preaching for many years.  He has a glowing reputation as a teacher and as a past industrial engineer when he worked for DuPont.  He writes great stuff and expresses his logic in his calculations.

Nidhi,

I have developed a spreadsheet earlier on when i started in 2011. see attachment. comments and suggestions will be welcome. what i did most of the time was to give the vendor initial concentration, target product concentration and the steam available. the vendor does the rest. i used this spreadsheet to kinda double check the vendor quote.

thank you,

Pingue2008:

Good contribution of a professional-quality calculation(s).  Not only is the presentation clear, there is no need to check the arithmetic.  All one has to do is follow the clear logic of the algorithm.  This reflects great training and preparation.  Good work.
