hiiii can any one plz explain this problem to me ? i mean what is the problem evaluation and aobjective ?

it says : Heavy oil transfer in a pipe

this problem simulates the high shear fluid transport known as coutte flow .this problem is important when transporation of heavy oils and crude in pipes . due to friction , and the presence of different phases , several forms of flow develope . mass transport materializes itself in the case that water is used to reduce the friction , and an optimal water concentration may be needed to acheive this objective .
