Hi i am working on reactor configurations for butane isomerisation ( Butamer process). Its a known fact that two reactors in series will increase the overall conversion of butane to isobutane. I am considering using a cold shot method. Would anyone know much on this area... What would be the disadvantage of implementing the cold shot technique ? would it really make any difference?
